June 22, Ambassador Su Ge, accompanied by Counselor Yin Shuming, met with Mdm. Ásta R. Jóhannesdóttir, the Speaker of Althingi, and gave her a briefing of the successful visit to Iceland by the high-level Chinese delegation.

Ambassador Su remarked that the visit had enhanced the bilateral friendship and trust between China and Iceland, and the agreements signed (currency swap, hydro-electricity and geothermal cooperation) are meritorious and mutually beneficial.
