On July 1, 2010, Mr. Xu Jianguo, the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, gave an special interview to the Leadership Newspaper.

In that interview, Ambassador Xu reviewed the recent development of the China-Nigerian strategic partnership in his four-year tenure as Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria and briefed the current bilateral cooperation in the field of economy and trade between the two countries. He also made some suggestions about the development of Nigeria, taking consideration of the experience of the recent development in China, and expressed sincere wishes towards the development of Nigeria as well as the China-Nigerian relations.
