On January 26, 2010, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun at request met with a delegation headed by Pertti Edvard Salolainen, Chair of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Finland. Both sides made positive comments on bilateral ties, expressing willingness to take the opportunity of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties to enhance cooperation on economy, trade, energy and environmental protection and push bilateral ties to a new level.
